Meet our Founder

Hi, I’m Geraldyne, founder of Yes I Can Preparatory Center and director of The Care House. Coming from a family of educators—and inspired early by my mother, my first teacher—I developed a love for learning at the age of three. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I saw the need for both academic and behavioral support for children who were struggling.

That passion led me to establish The Care House, a nonprofit focused on building values, character, and life skills. What began as an outreach has grown into a thriving micro school where children flourish academically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Inspired by The Marva Collins Story, I pursued my dream of creating a school that educates the whole child and ignites a lifelong love for learning and purpose.
